Additional information

Industry regulatory disclosure requirements

This website provides training in legal principals under Florida law. While many of the legal principals are common throughout the United States, most if not all states have specific variations to each and every legal principal. While these courses are presented by Florida lawyers about Florida law, it does not create a lawyer client relationship with any of the lawyers who serve as instructors nor the law firm Osterhout & McKinney, PA. A lawyer client relationship is only created when both parties agree to the relationship / representation. A lawyer client relationship provides for advice that is applied to the specific facts and circumstances that exist in your case or life. No matter how similar the examples provided in the instruction courses are to your’s they are not the same and a lawyer’s recommendation can often change based on small changes in circumstances. The benefit of a lawyer client relationship is this very specific decision making based on all the facts. A lawyer client relationship also provides priviledged communications between the lawyer and client.  This does not exist with any comments, or other communications, related to these courses and this website. Finally, a lawyer client relationship creates an exclusive form of relationship that would bar representation of an opposing party. Use of these materials or membership on this website does not create any exclusive form of relationship nor any barrier to representing someone opposing you in real life. These features are only present with a lawyer client relationship which is not formed by purchase of these courses, memberships or otherwise viewing the materials on this website. Some people having memberships or access to content on this website are clients of Osterhout & McKinney, PA, and the benefits of a lawyer client relationship arise from the independent relationship and not use of this website.
