Heidi M. Brown is an associate with Osterhout & McKinney, P.A. As of 2014, she is board certified in Elder Law by the Florida Bar. She concentrates in the areas of Estate Planning, Medicaid, VA Planning, Special Needs Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration. In addition, she is accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to represent claimants for VA benefits.
Ms. Brown is especially interested in Medicaid programs for the elderly. She is the Co-Chair of the Medicaid Committee of the Florida Bar’s Elder Law Section. She is also active with the Real Property, Trusts and Estate Law Section (RPTE) of the America Bar Association (ABA), where she serves as Co-Chair of the Elder Law and Long Term Care Committee.
Ms. Brown grew up in Southwest Florida and returned to the area in 2007. She attended Georgetown University for undergraduate and the College of William and Mary Law School for law school. In her free time, Ms. Brown enjoys classical singing.
